LeadsCon 2024 Recap

We just wrapped up LeadsCon in Vegas, and it was incredible! We connected with Eric Troutman and other industry leaders who are encouraging you to take action now. All your leads that are not 1:1 will become invalid/illegal Jan. 27, 2025 if you use an ATDS to place calls or texts. 

Here's the Recap:

• The FTC is for the first time in 50 years, taking a look at the phone calls / texts industry so it’s important to make sure your company is trying to follow the rules and do the right thing.

• FCC only modified definition of express written consent and not express prior permission.

• This likely means it only applies to calls made using ATDS or prerecorded/artificial/AI voice.

• Human Selection Systems (not human intervention) remain compliant (i.e. Safe Select).

• Big loophole benefit for those using Safe Select.

• TCPA filings up 32.8% from last year.

• 66.9% of all TCPA suits were filed as class action.

• Class actions are up 65% from last February.

• TCPA Actions are up 42% over January.
